Pregnancy & Substance Use
The emotional experience throughout pregnancy and after delivery is different for every individual. Hormones, sleep, nutrition, and stress can all impact your ability to cope and impact your recovery. Getting support or treatment- and doing so early- is important, not only for mothers, but for their baby and the rest of the family as well.
If you are thinking about getting pregnant, are pregnant, or postpartum and want to make changes to your substance use, we are here to help.

All women want the best for their babies. They want to have a safe pregnancy and healthy babies. Women who use substances are no different.

In Central Alberta, there are many programs and ways to get help.
